Suresh Vaidya Rajan
Suresh is an Architect, graduated from the School of Planning and Architecture, SPA in New Delhi, India. He has been teaching for 30 years, in renowned institutions such as the School of Planning and Architecture, TVB School of Habitat Studies, USAP University, MBS and the Jawahar Bal Bahavan, all in Delhi. He has designed the staff quarters in Sultanpur and Saharanpur. He has also designed various types of health buildings in Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu for the DANIDA health care project, along with several health centers, 7 district training centers, 2 ANM training schools, primary health centers. He has also designed school buildings, workers housing, farmhouses, offices, restaurants, prototype designs for energy efficient school building along with school and hostel buildings with passive cooling systems. He has also been doing product design since 1977, where he has designed teaching aids for NCERT, toys, furniture, solar cookers, cycle rickshaw prototypes and manufactured knockdown furniture. He has also successfully published Articles in the ‘Invention Intelligence and Science Observer’, a book published by DST – ‘Pumps from the Dump’ The school design manual for the HRD ministry is under publication, which is being developed by other team members.
